Mortal Kombat 1 Madam Bo Trailer Shows Grisly Granny Gore

In the T-1000 preview, it’s revealed that Madam Bo will be the upcoming Kameo in Mortal Kombat 1, making a surprise appearance as downloadable content. Although players caught a glimpse of the character in the previous teaser, this new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer solely concentrates on Madam Bo, providing a more detailed insight into her character.

At the Viennality 2k25 tournament in Austria, this video was first shown. In it, Madam Bo is seen performing acrobatic moves like sliding to stun an opponent, doing flip kicks, and even tossing a bottle. This bottle could either be used as a projectile or consumed by the main character to provide some kind of boost (and the subsequent stumble suggests it might also have a negative effect). The trailer concludes with Madam Bo executing her Fatality, which involves kicking an opponent’s head off and catching it on a tray.

It’s been suggested that Madam Bo might be connected to Bo’ Rai Cho from Mortal Kombat X, due to striking resemblances between her flips in the T-1000 trailer and his Monkey Flips special move. Additionally, it seems that the drink she offers may grant the main fighter a body slam move similar to one of Bo’ Rai Cho’s attacks. However, this connection hasn’t been verified yet, but Madam Bo is known as Sektor’s mother in Mortal Kombat 1‘s storyline.

This sneak peek offers users a glimpse into the upcoming Kameo fighter, with more comprehensive details to be shared by the development team around or at the game’s release. Madam Bo is scheduled to debut alongside T-1000 in Khaos Reigns for its owners on March 18th. For other players, she will be available for purchase a week later, although the exact price is yet to be announced. Previous Kameos have cost $4.99 each.

It’s uncertain if additional downloadable content for Mortal Kombat 1 is forthcoming, though Ed Boon, a co-creator of Mortal Kombat, hinted at “future DLC.” However, his statement was somewhat vague, potentially referring only to the T-1000 character. Previously, an insider had suggested that planned DLC for MK1 was delayed due to poor sales of Khaos Reigns. But more recently, a reliable source discovered character slots in the game’s code that might indicate further characters could be released later on.
