Have you seen this T-1000 gameplay reveal drop?
NetherRealms dropped the upcoming T-1000 reveal trailer recently to positive fanfare.
Also, we get a look at the new Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, who will come alongside the robot!
T-1000 Gameplay Reveal
In simpler terms, Warner Bros unveiled a new trailer for their T-1000 game, but they also showcased a sneak peek of an upcoming character in Kameo, called Madam Bo.
These two new members are expected to officially join our team on the 18th, marking the end of the additions for Kombat Pack 2.
Instead, what stood out most in the T-1000 gameplay wasn’t the specific moves, but rather the return of Robert Patrick to his legendary character. It’s always exciting to watch such talented actors at work, and his face might be familiar to you from various roles he has played.
He’s yet to repay Richie the 2Gs owed from his stellar performance in The Sopranos, but he’s no stranger to video games. In fact, he has a few game titles already under his belt, including Terminator 2 on the PS2 and less popular ones like The Dig and The Outfit.
Speaking about his gaming style, indeed, it flows smoothly, much like a mechanical fluid. Initially, I observed several rapid movements across the screen such as his grounded water projectile and his aerial move resembling a teardrop.

His approach is aggressive and intimidating, mirroring his on-screen persona. A significant feature is his forward counterattack where he advances towards the opponent, able to absorb several blows. While not invulnerable, the strategy seems to be enticing you to get closer, potentially leading to a follow-up action from him.

Additionally, he causes issues for Zoners because he’s in a liquid metal form. Furthermore, he possesses extended punishing moves with strong odors.
Or more casually:
Besides being a problem due to his liquid metal status for Zoners, he also has some lengthy moves that smell quite strongly when used as punishment.
John Connor is Seething
Instead, I’ve often pointed out that the T-1000 in gameplay seems heavily reliant on combos. He frequently employs meterless launches and extensions across his arsenal. Moreover, during the initial reveal, he had no projectiles at all, but they might not be necessary.

As the robot can just tank projectiles and get up close fast, it does not make it an issue.
From the unveiling of T-1000’s gameplay, we caught a glimpse of Madam Bo. Her two supportive abilities include sipping a boost and a precise close-range volley strike. While it wasn’t clear what the exact boost was, it seems likely that it provided an increase in damage or health.
For anyone curious, it seems the robot might adopt the form of a German Shepherd police dog for its animalistic characteristics. It’s plausible, as I recall there was a scene where the robot turned into a dog in the movie, but I may have missed something; I need to rewatch that part to be sure.
Indeed, it aligns with his character traits since he has the ability to transform at will. However, hold on a moment, I might be confusing the film; it seems like he ends up killing a dog in this one – could be the fourth movie instead.
Moving on from my movie misfires, I must say that the gameplay for the T-1000 is quite robust in general. However, I’m eagerly awaiting more concrete gameplay details and frame rates for a better understanding.
