Ahoy, fellow gamers! Let me tell you, I’ve been around the block a few times, and I’ve seen my fair share of iconic characters grace the gaming world. But when Ghostface from Scream steps into the arena of Mortal Kombat 1, it’s like a slasher movie meets martial arts, and I can’t help but feel a thrill of excitement!
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but get excited when reminiscing about the launch of Mortal Kombat 1’s expansion, “Khaos Reigns,” in September. Alongside a fresh storyline, it introduced three brand-new characters and hinted at three more guest DLC fighters to join the fray in the near future. Among these upcoming additions, I can hardly wait for the arrival of Ghostface from Scream, scheduled for release later this month! In anticipation, WB Games has just dropped a thrilling gameplay trailer that offers a tantalizing glimpse into what this knife-wielding slasher will contribute to the game.
Just as anticipated, Ghostface’s combat style is predominantly centered around his lethal blade and ruthless slashing techniques, further enhanced by his capacity to summon additional Ghostfaces for assistance. In terms of his Fatality, it lives up to its chilling reputation – he stealthily approaches Johnny Cage during a game of Mortal Kombat 1, and viciously stabs him from behind. Simultaneously, Ghostface performs a Fatality within the game that Johnny is playing, as shown in the trailer below.
The latest version of “Mortal Kombat” can be played on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers. On November 26, Ghostface is set to join the game’s roster, but early access for those who own the expansion, its bundle, or the Kollection begins on November 19.
