Mortal Kombat Mobile Anniversary Update Adding Characters from MK1 and MK11

It’s hard to believe, but Mortal Kombat Mobile is almost reaching its 10th anniversary! To celebrate this milestone, the developers have planned a grand update arriving on March 25th. This new version will introduce two fresh characters to the game: MK1 Geras from Mortal Kombat 1 and Klassic Skarlet with a design inspired by her look in Mortal Kombat 11. These characters can be obtained through the 10-Year Anniversary Kombat Pass. If you opt for the higher-tier passes, you’ll get Diamond MK1 Geras from the Premium pass, and the Premium+ pass offers early access to Gold Klassic Skarlet.

Starting March 25th, players of Mortal Kombat Mobile have something exciting to look forward to – the Tower of Time event! This event will continue until April 10th. During this time, you’ll be able to climb a 50-level Anniversary Tower and gather newly introduced Equipment as rewards. Throughout the event, you’ll encounter several bosses, with MK1 Geras being the only one confirmed so far. Additionally, on that day, new Brutalities will become accessible, offering options for both MK1 Geras and Smoke. A sneak peek of these new Brutalities can be found in the trailer for the anniversary celebration, which is linked below.

Following the latest update on Mortal Kombat Mobile, players should anticipate a significant revamp in the Faction Wars segment of the game, scheduled to take place from March 26th. This transformation will rebrand the mode as Realm Klash, touted as an enhanced version of the original mode. The first phase will introduce fresh rewards for players who manage to secure top spots on the leaderboards.

The festivities for Mortal Kombat Mobile will carry on into the next month, starting April 1st with a login event that spans over 10 days. During this period, players can earn free characters within the game. These characters include MK11 Scorpion, Classic Noob Saibot, Piercing Mileena, Edenian Blood Kitana, Thundergod Raiden, Lizard Jade, Grandmaster Sub-Zero, Classic Sonya Blade, Onslaught Jax Briggs, and Fire God Liu Kang.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but marvel at the fact that Mortal Kombat Mobile is almost hitting its 10th anniversary! Released back in 2015 as a mobile spin-off of Mortal Kombat X, this game has truly come a long way. Over the years, it has consistently evolved, incorporating content from subsequent Mortal Kombat games.

This upcoming 10th anniversary update is no different, with fighters from both Mortal Kombat 11 and the original Mortal Kombat being included. I’m eagerly awaiting this month’s update to see how it resonates with players. It’s truly amazing to witness a game that started in my pocket continue to captivate audiences even after all these years!
