As a dedicated fan, I’ve learned that Krafton, the publisher behind Striking Distance Studios, has made some adjustments to streamline their team structure. This move was aimed at ensuring the studio maintains its agility and sustainability during its developmental phase. Despite these changes, the studio continues to operate, and there are no alterations planned for the support they’re providing in their current projects. It’s important to note that this decision has resulted in a reduction of team members, as shared by some former employees on LinkedIn.
After the launch of The Callisto Protocol in 2023, the development team experienced a series of job cuts. Later in the same year, the founder, CEO, and creator of Striking Distance Studios, who was also the mastermind behind the original Dead Space, decided to explore fresh ventures.
