Tonight, as ITV’s documentary on Brianna Ghey is broadcast, Esther Ghey, her mother, expresses several desires about the impact she hopes this broadcast will have on its viewers.
In a 75-minute runtime, the movie delves into the tragic 2023 murder of Brianna, featuring insights from her loved ones like her mother, friends, and family, as well as investigators who were instrumental in bringing Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe to justice for their crimes.
Esther participated in the documentary to make sure it was genuine, and MultiStory Media was given the responsibility to portray Brianna truthfully, as she really is.
However, the documentary doesn’t just delve into Brianna’s murder; it equally emphasizes Esther’s activism efforts as well.
Esther established Peace & Mind UK as a tribute to Brianna, with the purpose of empowering both young individuals and their families by providing tools for mental health enhancement via collective wellness programs and digital safety instruction.

The film provides an in-depth examination of the potentially damaging digital material that Brianna encountered, a subject that has gained significant attention after the premiere of Adolescence on Netflix, becoming a hot discussion point among many today.
In a press Q&A session following the documentary, Esther expressed her aspirations conveyed by the film, highlighting: “[I wish] to enlighten people about the potential risks that exist online. As a parent myself, I admit I was unaware of the true extent of these dangers.
I hope that this will enlighten people and potentially encourage some government assistance for our endeavor. Such help would be wonderful, and it might just bring about the desired change, known by Brianna’s name.

In the previous year, Esther held a meeting with Sir Keir Starmer to explore the idea of incorporating mindfulness instruction into educational institutions.
Currently, our education system heavily emphasizes academic skills, but unfortunately, it seldom provides guidance on managing mental health. [This is a statement made by Esther, as reported by BBC News.]
During these challenging times, mindfulness has been a great support for me, providing a kind of psychological fortitude that seems to be in short supply for many right now.
However, there are currently no plans to introduce this to the national curriculum yet.
