As a seasoned gamer with an affinity for cartoons and a soft spot for strong female characters, I can hardly contain my excitement about the latest addition to MultiVersus – Marceline, the Vampire Queen! Ever since her debut on Adventure Time, she’s been a fan favorite, and now we get to see her in action as a playable character.
On December 17, the free-to-play fighting game MultiVersus will introduce character Marceline from Adventure Time, along with a new map called “Candy Kingdom”. This announcement was made by publishers Warner Bros. Games and developers Player First Games.

New Playable Character: Marceline
Equipped with her reliable bass guitar, Marceline is a fighter of the Bruiser class, ready to rip through any obstacle that crosses her path. In the recently released trailer, Marceline’s move set, filled with combos, is showcased in all its glory. Her special abilities, such as harnessing rhythmic power to boost attacks and transforming into a vampire bat to clobber, grab, and jab enemies, are also highlighted. The video offers a sneak peek at two character variants for Marceline: Sun Hat Marceline and Distant Lands Marceline. New Map: Candy Kingdom
On December 17, we’ll add a fresh map called “Candy Kingdom” inspired by the well-known location from Adventure Time, along with the introduction of Marceline. Following this, on January 14, 2025 to February 4, 2025, a new version of Rifts mode called Rogue Rifts will make its debut. In this innovative take on Rifts mode, players will face a series of five challenges with a restricted number of daily attempts. Successfully completing the challenge during this timeframe will grant you the Abominable Mountaineer Jason character variant.
