As a massive fan of “My Adventures with Superman,” I cannot express my excitement enough for this amazing anime and its latest developments. With two captivating seasons under its belt, it has truly proven itself as a unique and compelling take on the Man of Steel.
I’m thrilled to share that the second season of my favorite anime, “My Adventures with Superman,” has wrapped up, and it’s doing great! With two seasons under my belt now, this Adult Swim series has shown that its unique portrayal of Clark Kent is a winning formula. As production on season three gets underway, I can’t help but revisit the previous seasons. And to make things even more exciting, we’ve been given an exclusive sneak peek into what went down in season two!
As a gamer and fan of “My Adventures with Superman,” I’m thrilled to share some exclusive behind-the-scenes info! Jake Wyatt, one of the showrunners, recently revealed on social media that he had unseen storyboards for the abandoned season two ending theme. Initially, the team planned to create an anime-style ending theme, but unfortunately, production limitations made it an unrealizable goal.
After the conclusion of S2, I’m finally able to unveil this delightful, revealing behind-the-scenes storyboard from the end credits that I unfortunately had to put aside. (I’ve got Uso by SID playing in the background with no shame or self-restraint left.)

After the conclusion of “My Adventures with Superman” Season 2, Wyatt was finally able to reveal a lavish, revealing behind-the-scenes storyboard from the end credits that he had to put aside earlier. (The background music is “Uso” by SID because I have no shame or self-control.)
“Given that we had run out of budget and lacked the time to create new animations, we opted to produce an ending credits (ED) sequence using pre-existing backgrounds and simple character images instead.”
I’m excited to share that in season two, our beloved heroes – from Lois to Clark and Kara – come together in an intriguing storyline. This development is particularly significant because “My Adventures with Superman” highlighted Supergirl’s role this year. As Clark grapples with more revelations about his past, Supergirl plays a pivotal part in helping him sort through the chaos of Kryptonian memories. And let me tell you, Lois and Jimmy are there for Clark every step of the way, providing unwavering support as his best friend.
If you’ve missed out on “My Adventures with Superman,” currently available to stream on Max, audiences are really into this unique shonen adaptation of the classic superhero. In fact, production on a third season is underway at Studio Mir. With fans deeply engaged, there’s a growing demand for more anime-style superhero shows. Proposals like “Suicide Squad Isekai” have already demonstrated impressive results.
