As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours immersed in the world of anime, I can confidently say that watching My Hero Academia‘s latest episode was like jumping into a high-stakes battle royale. The confrontation between All For One and the heroes had me on the edge of my seat!
In the seventh season of My Hero Academia, All For One finds himself in a precarious position as the leading heroes are leaving no stone unturned to bring down this formidable villain, often referred to as the demon lord. A punch from the number one hero, Endeavor, would have been fatal for most, but Shigaraki’s mentor was compelled to use his ultimate move. Employing Eri’s “Rewind” ability, All For One has never been more powerful, yet this newfound strength comes at a significant cost. Not only does he heal from wounds by reversing them, but his age also regresses, making him younger with each passing second. Despite these changes, All For One remains a formidable adversary and has demonstrated his prowess by stealing a major hero’s Quirk as proof of his continued threat.
Head’s up! If you haven’t caught up with episode 18 from My Hero Academia’s seventh season, you might want to steer clear as we’re venturing into spoiler-rich waters. All For One seems to have enlisted the help of Toga and Dabi, but he’s still facing some significant hurdles. Tokoyami has launched his ultimate move, Baldur’s Light, causing Dark Shadow to pummel the villain into the ground. To add to this, Mt. Lady has teamed up with an unanticipated partner, Gigantomachia, in their efforts against All For One.
All For One on The Ropes
Instead of joining forces with the heroes like Gentle Criminal, La Brava, Lady Nagant, and Kurogiri did, Gigantomachia remained loyal but was controlled by Shinso instead. The masked hero successfully used his Quirk on All For One’s giant minion, resulting in Tokoyami and Mt. Lady gaining a crucial ally. However, the battle with All For One had an unforeseen consequence: the villain has become stronger than ever, thanks to reverting to his younger form. This enhanced power enables him to overpower all three heroes.
Although the three aren’t yet deceased, they are clinging to life by a thread and All For One emerges victorious against the heroes. In an attempt to deliver a fatal blow to the demon lord, Hawks moved in for a close range attack with his feather strike, hoping it would vanquish the villain. Regrettably for the second-ranking hero, his attack not only failed to kill All For One but also brought Hawks within grasp of the antagonist’s de-aging powers.
Hawks Loses His Quirk
In his possession are numerous Quirks, which he’s acquired throughout the years, but what truly makes All For One a formidable adversary is his unique ability to seize the powers of anyone he physically touches. Recently, this dangerous trait was displayed when Hawks, the second-ranking hero, found himself with his throat seized and his “Fierce Wings” Quirk being transferred to All For One. Given that Keigo Takami has been effectively utilizing his powers in the ongoing superhero series, the heroes have suffered a significant setback in their struggle against the League of Villains.
Only four episodes remain in the seventh season of “My Hero Academia”, yet there are significant events yet to unfold before the season concludes. As hinted at in the upcoming episode preview, titled “I Am Here”, All Might is poised to step up his strategy by joining the battlefield directly. While some anime enthusiasts might ponder how the powerless vigilante plans to tackle All For One, readers of the manga are privy to the fact that Toshinori will aid Deku and other UA Academy members in their efforts.
