As a devoted fan of My Hero Academia who has been following its epic narrative since the beginning, I must say that the latest twist of Dabi and Toga joining the hero side is nothing short of intriguing! I’ve always admired the depth of characters in this series, and this idea of redemption for two of our most formidable villains has me hooked.
In the seventh season of the anime “My Hero Academia”, Toga and Dabi have taken center stage, even though Shoto Todoroki initially defeated his brother, Endeavor’s eldest son. However, the fiery villain is once again active, showcasing the strongest form of his Quirk. Following the death of her friend Twice, Toga has absorbed his power to duplicate, enabling her to create an infinite number of duplicates. Recently, an artist has imagined a “What If” scenario where Toya Todoroki and Himiko Toga choose to join the heroes instead of remaining villains.
Initially, Dabi and Toga didn’t belong to the League of Villains when the series began; their involvement came later. The turning point was during season two, with the introduction of Stain, a villain who targeted heroes. Stain was a significant antagonist, and his influence played a crucial role in both Dabi and Toga’s power. Inspired by Stain, they willingly joined the League of Villains. Since then, they have been two of the most formidable members, wielding considerable power within the organization.
Dabi And Toga Turn Hero
As Kohei Horikoshi navigated the storyline of “My Hero Academia’s” manga, it required a collective effort to ensure Class 1-A’s narrative unfolded smoothly. Nagatomo1565 has contributed numerous pieces featuring Class 1-A, but this newest artwork presents an alternate universe unlike any we’ve seen before. In this creative vision, Toga and Dabi are enrolled at UA Academy and are depicted taking on new positions in defending the Hero Society instead of fighting against it.

Can Toga And Dabi Be Redeemed?
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but appreciate how the concept of redemption is beautifully woven into the storyline of “My Hero Academia”. In the recent episode of the anime, characters like Gentle Criminal, La Brava, and Lady Nagant solidified this theme when they shifted from opposing Hero Society to aiding Deku and his heroic allies. On the other hand, for villains such as Dabi and Toga, redemption appears to be a distant prospect given the destruction they’ve caused in society. In their wake lies a trail of sorrow, with numerous lives lost, so if these two ever seek forgiveness after the climactic anime battle, it will require them to make significant amends for their past transgressions – a challenging journey indeed.
Dabi And Toga’s Current Status
Due to Kurogiri’s awakening as a teleporting villain, the heroes’ initial strategy has been disrupted. The villains are no longer divided, and thanks to Toga summoning Twice’s power, she has expanded her control through numerous doppelgangers swarming the battlefield. On the other hand, Dabi was previously engaged in a fight with his brother, but he’s now back in action, confronting his father. This puts Enji Todoroki in a challenging position as he faces off against both Dabi and All For One along with the number one hero.
As the remaining episodes of season seven approach the season finale for “My Hero Academia”, fans are left pondering where the story might conclude. Though Studio Bones hasn’t officially announced an eighth season yet, it seems likely that the anime adaptation will wrap up the series with one final season.
