As a long-time observer of the anime world, I must say that it’s been quite the journey to witness the meteoric rise of My Hero Academia from its humble beginnings to becoming one of the most celebrated and loved franchises today. The creator Kohei Horikoshi has truly outdone himself with this special new promo for Jump Festa 2025, especially considering that the manga officially came to an end earlier this year.
2025 marks the return of our beloved heroes from “My Hero Academia,” which concluded its impressive ten-year run in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine earlier this year. However, the creator has given fans a delightful surprise with a fresh promotional video for Jump Festa 2025! This year has been momentous for “My Hero Academia” as it concluded its series, but to the joy of many, an epilogue featuring over thirty new chapters was released alongside the final volume that hit Japanese shelves this month. Yet, the journey for Deku and his comrades is far from complete.
Even though the manga of My Hero Academia has concluded, there’s still much to be excited about since numerous projects related to the series are underway next year. The anime will carry on with its final season debuting in Fall 2025, and a fresh spinoff anime series is also being planned. To make Jump Festa 2025 even more special, the creator of My Hero Academia unveiled some unique artwork featuring Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and All Might. You can see Horikoshi’s latest sketch here.

Having closely followed the epic saga of “My Hero Academia”, I can attest that these three are undoubtedly its most admired heroes. Over the past few months, fans from around the globe have participated in a popularity poll, and the final results were announced just prior to the release of the manga’s concluding volume in Japan. The tally revealed Bakugo, Deku, and Shoto as the world’s top three heroes in descending order, a testament to their unwavering appeal among fans worldwide!
I’m thrilled to share that the mastermind behind “My Hero Academia” is wrapping up his work on this phenomenal series, as the final manga installment has been released. While there might be a few lingering sketches here and there, Horikoshi is already setting his sights on what’s next – planning an entirely new original series!
