What is the Plot of Ichi the Witch?

Born and raised among magical creatures known as Majiks, I have witnessed firsthand the power and allure these beings hold over those who dare to seek them out.
Tradition dictates that only women are granted the title of Witch, revered figures whose mastery of magic is unparalleled. However, my life story takes an unexpected turn, as I, a young boy, found myself abandoned on this mountain and left for dead. Fate had other plans for me, though, and through sheer determination and resilience, I transformed my bleak circumstances into a remarkable journey of self-discovery and skill acquisition.
Now, as an accomplished Majik hunter, I have learned to navigate the delicate balance between harnessing the power within these magical beings and respecting their intrinsic worth. My experiences on Druid Mountain have taught me that there is always more to learn, more to uncover, and more to appreciate in this enchanted world that lies just beyond our reach.
On Druid Mountain dwells a fearsome creature whose heart is impervious to any woman’s attack. This formidable being, known as Majik, poses a grave risk to the populace, and despite the witches’ valiant efforts, they remain unable to vanquish it. In such dire straits, Ichi emerges as the hero. Upon defeating the Majik, he becomes history’s first male witch, a title once believed unattainable by males. Excitedly speaking as a manga fan, I’ve been diving into this captivating story that spans across 16 chapters, all of which are now accessible via the official Manga Plus app! Though they’ve unveiled the first volume’s release date for the Japanese edition, we avid readers outside Japan will have to wait a few more months for the English translation to reach us globally.
