My Hero Academia Creator Shares New Art of Lady Nagant's Return

As a long-time fan of My Hero Academia, I must say that the latest episode had me on the edge of my seat! The unexpected return of Lady Nagant was both thrilling and emotional for me, as she’s become one of my favorite characters over the years. Having followed her journey from hero to villain and back again, I can relate to her struggle with redemption and finding her place in a world full of heroes and villains alike.

In the recent episode of My Hero Academia, a surprise development with Kurogiri caused quite a stir for Deku and his team at UA Academy. This unexpected awakening led to several villains being transported to various locations, disrupting Class 1-A’s initial plans. However, things took an interesting turn when former villains like La Brava, Gentle Criminal, and Lady Nagant lent a helping hand. To mark the return of this sharpshooter character, the series creator Kohei Horikoshi has revealed new artwork featuring the sniper who arrived just in time to prevent major destruction at UA Academy by Shigaraki.

In case you need a reminder about Lady Nagant, she debuted as a villain in the sixth season of “My Hero Academia”. During the “Dark Hero Arc”, she was hired by All For One to capture Deku and hand him over to the main antagonist of the series. Earlier, she had been working for the Public Safety Commission, carrying out their underhanded tasks. Struggling with her past wrongdoings, she assassinated a superior within the PSC and was subsequently imprisoned in Tartarus, a maximum-security facility. Moved by Deku’s actions, her allegiance shifted, reappearing at a crucial moment for the heroes as they aim to take down Hero Society.

Lady Nagant Returns

With the conclusion of the “My Hero Academia” manga, creator Kohei Horikoshi now finds himself with some free time. Instead of idling away, he’s been busy creating fresh artwork featuring his cherished characters. However, it appears that he is investing more thought into these new portrayals. In line with the release of the latest anime episode, Horikoshi also offered a detailed glimpse into the character who transitioned from hero to villain and back to hero once again – the sniper in question.

Currently, I haven’t received confirmation from Horikoshi about a sequel or spin-off for My Hero Academia yet, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the anime is wrapping up right now. It looks like we can expect one more season of the TV series to wrap up the story, and the fourth movie will be gracing Western theaters this fall. So, fellow fans, let’s eagerly anticipate more thrilling animated escapades with Class 1-A!
