My Hero Academia Finally Delivers a Big 3 Team Up

My Hero Academia has always been one of my favorite anime series due to its unique take on superpowers and the compelling characters it presents. As a long-time fan, I’ve watched the Big Three – Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shouto Todoroki – grow and evolve over the course of the series. But there was one thing missing: seeing them team up in action.

In the latest episode of Season 7, My Hero Academia has reached the climactic battles against the villains. Long-awaited by fans, the Big 3 heroes from U.A. Academy finally teamed up in this installment! The introduction of the Big 3 as the top three heroes in the school ahead of the Shie Hassaikai arc’s fights piqued fans’ interest. However, despite having all three in action at that time, fans hadn’t witnessed them fighting together yet.

In the seventh season of My Hero Academia, the battle against Tomura Shigaraki continues, with Katsuki Bakugo and their allies putting up a valiant resistance in the interim before Izuku Midoriya joins them. Meanwhile, Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado have formed an alliance to launch a full-on assault against Shigaraki. This is not only their first joint offensive but also the most compelling demonstration of their collective abilities, highlighting why fans have been eagerly anticipating this team-up.

The Big Three Teams Up in My Hero Academia

In Season 7 Episode 11 of My Hero Academia, Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire combine their forces for the first significant team-up. Previously, they have operated independently due to various reasons such as Mirio being unable to use his Quirk or their assignments taking them in different directions. However, when confronted with Shigaraki on the same battlefield, these three heroes demonstrate their synergy and effectively strike at Shigaraki’s body.

The heroes found it challenging to get close enough to Shigaraki due to the vast number of fingers he kept sending out on the battlefield. Mirio’s ability to become intangible and Nejire’s strong impact power helped them overcome this obstacle. However, they knew that Tamami was the one who would deal the decisive blow. While they bought him time, Tamami harnessed his quirk to generate a powerful cannon blast, which he used to strike Shigaraki. Unfortunately, Shigaraki recovered quickly from the attack, but it demonstrated the strength of their teamwork.
