My Hero Academia: Kenta Miyake Details All Might's Biggest Shift in Season 7

As a seasoned gamer and ardent fan of My Hero Academia, I must say that watching All Might’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Much like the game where we level up our characters, All Might has gone through an incredible evolution, from a young trainee to the Symbol of Peace. Despite retiring when the series began, his struggles post-retirement have been anything but peaceful.

In the story of My Hero Academia, Toshinori Yagi, also known as All Might, has faced numerous trials. His journey begins with rigorous training to inherit One For All and culminates in his role as the Symbol of Peace. However, even at the tail end of his career when the series started, All Might’s retirement was anything but tranquil. Now, he’s once again on the battlefield, orchestrating the climactic showdown against All For One. According to actor Kenta Miyake, season seven holds some of the most significant transformations yet for the character All Might.

In a chat with ComicBook, the voice actor for All Might revealed his insights about season seven and how the Symbol of Peace has evolved. Miyake believes that the anime, My Hero Academia, has taken All Might to unprecedented levels since the end of season six, and this transformation was largely influenced by none other than Izuku.

As a long-time fan of the hero community, I can empathize with the struggles that All Might faces in the series. After giving everything he had in the battle against All For One, he has taken on the roles of mentor and supporter for Deku. Despite his external strength, it seems that he has faced an internal struggle – a broken heart – during season six. It’s heart-wrenching to see Izuku carrying such a heavy burden alone, wanting to move forward without help or guidance. As someone who has witnessed the growth and development of these characters, I can only imagine the emotions they must be going through.

Despite Izuku requiring intervention, All Might couldn’t bring himself to stop him. This left All Might feeling helpless and questioning his purpose. However, as the story unfolds, we witness All Might regaining his strength, and in this process, he strives to be the best hero possible given his current circumstances – even without powers. Thus, All Might has grown more mature, and this development is quite moving.

Looking at superheroes like All Might might make you believe they’ve reached their peak, but All Might has consistently proven that there’s always room for growth. For years, he carried the weight of All For One and Japan’s well-being alone. Thanks to Deku, All Might discovered what it means to share that burden, and now Class 1-A has reinforced this lesson. The upcoming battle against All For One is a joint effort, demonstrating that heroes are at their strongest when they lean on each other. Even without a superpower, All Might stands tall to show the world the incredible strength of heroes who collaborate with civilians. In essence, All Might is here to remind us all – yes, you too can become a hero.

Keen on staying updated with “My Hero Academia” season seven? You’re in luck! You can catch it streaming on Crunchyroll and also Hulu. For a comprehensive understanding of the anime, here’s a brief overview from their official synopsis:

Throughout his entire life, Izuku has harbored a dream to become a hero. Achieving such a goal is difficult for anyone, but it’s particularly arduous when you don’t possess any superpowers, as is the case with Izuku who lives in a world where 80% of its population does. Unfortunately, he was born without any special abilities known as “quirks.” However, this setback doesn’t discourage him from applying to one of the world’s most esteemed hero academies.
