As a hardcore fan of My Hero Academia who’s been following this series since its early days, I must say that this year has been nothing short of spectacular. From the epic final fight in the anime to the heart-wrenching ending of the manga, it’s safe to say that Kohei Horikoshi and his team have truly outdone themselves.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but marvel at the phenomenal year My Hero Academia has had in the anime realm. The seventh season brought us closer to the climactic battle of the series, offering a richer narrative around it. Meanwhile, the manga reached its final chapter, where Deku and Class 1-A grapple with the aftermath of All For One and Shigaraki’s actions. To honor this incredible superhero shonen series once more, a global popularity poll has been unveiled, allowing fans like me to vote for their beloved heroes and villains. Now, in an unexpected twist, the global popularity poll has dropped some intriguing news about the recent voting and the direction the franchise is taking regarding the poll moving forward.
As a dedicated fan of “My Hero Academia,” I’m not surprised who’s been taking the lead in the latest popularity poll. Just like in previous surveys, Katsuki Bakugo has claimed the top spot again, with Izuku Midoriya trailing closely behind. Even though Murder God Dynamight isn’t always in the limelight of the series, his fiery spirit resonates with viewers. With the recent developments in the anime, fans are left on tenterhooks, questioning if he’ll make it through against Shigaraki, lying there critically injured and fighting for his life.
My Hero Academia’s Global Popularity Poll Postponed
The official account of My Hero Academia recently posted an update about some irregularities found in the votes cast during their Super Poll Event, which was celebrating the Final Chapter. They’ve discovered that certain votes violated their Terms of Service. Consequently, they have made necessary adjustments to the rankings published up until September 5th. They will continue to eliminate any suspicious or unauthorized votes to ensure the event’s fairness. Your cooperation and support are appreciated during this process.

I’ve got some exciting news to share with all the talented artists out there! The overwhelming response to our ‘Fan Art Contest’ has left us pleasantly surprised. So many amazing entries have poured in since we launched the contest that it’s taking longer than anticipated to sort through them all. Initially, we planned to announce the winners on September 15th, but we need a bit more time to ensure fairness and accuracy.
My Hero Academia’s Future
Even though the manga of the popular shonen series has concluded, it doesn’t signal the end for Deku and his team of heroes on our screens. The anime adaptation of “My Hero Academia” is currently airing its seventh season, with a likely eighth season to follow as the final chapter in the television series. In movie news, “My Hero Academia: You’re Next,” the fourth film in the franchise, has been released in Japanese cinemas and plans to debut in North American theaters next month. At this time, no information is available about a fifth film being developed.
