Eri Has Finally Grown Up in My Hero Academia

In the comic book, Eri experienced a difficult upbringing marked by abandonment and captivity under the malevolent Overhaul and the Shie Hassaikai. These antagonists exploited her unique Rewind ability which enables her to rewind a living being to an earlier state. This power allows her to age people backwards, heal wounds, and undo physical alterations. Overhaul employed her talents to manufacture bullets that neutralize other’s powers. Undergoing numerous tests before being saved by the Pro Heroes and Deku during the Shie Hassaikai raid.

In the anime series “My Hero Academia,” she continued to be a significant figure, now under the supervision of Shota Aizawa. During the climactic Final Battle arc, she bestowed Deku with her horn for him to use in healing his severely injured arms. The storyline then jumps ahead several years post-Final Battle, focusing on the main characters as they’ve matured into adults. Creator Horikoshi also added an epilogue chapter delving deeper into their adult lives. Later, in “My Hero Academia: Ultra Age: The Final Fan Book” epilogue manga, readers get a glimpse of Eri’s new older appearance.

What Happens to Eri After the End of My Hero Academia?

From my perspective, observing Audrey’s non-official interpretations, the concluding chapter centers around a teenager named Eri, attending UA High and encountering various teachers. Her horn has reappeared since she had given it to Deku years earlier. Among the faculty members she meets are Aizawa, Present Mic, and All Might. As they tune into the news, they see Deku once more as a Pro Hero, having regained his power suit following his recognition. The group observes Deku with profound admiration, with Eri expressing her determination to follow in his footsteps after witnessing his success as a hero again.
