My Hero Academia Reveals New Deku/Shigaraki Poster

As a dedicated fan of My Hero Academia, I have been eagerly anticipating the highly-awaited showdown between Deku and Shigaraki. The cliffhanger at the end of season seven left us on the edge of our seats, with the heroes and villains locked in intense battles across various battlefields. However, the delay in the final confrontation between Deku and Shigariki has left me feeling a bit uneasy.

The seventh season of “My Hero Academia” has temporarily stopped due to the 2024 Summer Olympics, leaving fans eagerly waiting for the continuation of the thrilling cliffhanger. In our last encounter, Class 1-A was engaged in a fierce battle against All For One, Shigaraki, and the Villain League. The major confrontation between Deku and Shigaraki has yet to unfold as they have not met head-on. A newly released season seven poster previews their impending encounter, providing a glimpse into future events.

Deku hasn’t faced off against Shigaraki yet because of a unexpected turn of events. The heroes had a well-laid plan, which resulted in the villains being divided and the heroes gaining an advantage. However, at the last moment, Toga made a surprising move that prevented Deku from battling Shigaraki as planned. Now, Deku is working hard to defeat Shigaraki instead.

My Hero Academia: Deku Vs. Shigaraki

One of the big ways that the heroes have held Shigaraki in check is Eraserhead and the young mimic hero Monoma. By combining their Quirks, the big bad has been unable to use his Quirks. Unfortunately for the heroes, this didn’t mean that Shigaraki has been defeated as his body had tricks that even Class 1-A didn’t see coming. On top of having a power level close to that of All Might’s, Shigaraki has unleashed a torrent of giant fingers that are a disturbing threat to UA Academy.

It’s almost time for a showdown.

Although it hasn’t been officially announced that season seven will be the final installment of “My Hero Academia,” it appears likely that season eight will serve as the concluding chapter for the anime version. With the manga coming to an end soon, there are still significant battles and emotional moments left to portray before we see Deku and his hero comrades ride off into the sunset.
