What to Know for My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON
The final season of “My Hero Academia” is set to air this October as part of the Fall 2025 anime lineup, though a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet. What we do know is that Crunchyroll will stream the new episodes globally simultaneously with their premiere in Japan. If you’re interested, you can currently watch seasons 1-7 of “My Hero Academia” on Crunchyroll, along with the ongoing prequel series, “My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.
The final season of “My Hero Academia” is set to be directed once more by Naomi Nakayama from studio Bones, with Yosuke Kuroda continuing to write the series’ scripts. Kenji Nagasaki will act as the chief director, while Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima will handle character designs. Yuki Hayashi is set to compose the music for this season. The original voice cast from the first seven seasons will reprise their roles, and it’s unlikely that many new characters will be introduced given that the anime has mostly introduced its main players approaching the endgame.
