My Hero Academia Timeskip Reveals Shoto’s Pro Hero Future (& His Real Dream Job)

As a die-hard fan of My Hero Academia who has followed Shoto Todoroki’s journey since the very beginning, I must say that his decision to pursue a career in pottery after becoming one of the top heroes is nothing short of inspiring! After all, we all know that behind every great hero lies an even greater passion.

I’ve been eagerly anticipating the latest revelations about Shoto Todoroki’s pro hero journey in My Hero Academia, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The recent manga volume has shown us a glimpse into Shoto’s life post-time skip, hinting that there’s more on his mind than just being a hero. As a fan, I was thrilled to see Kohei Horikoshi return with an additional 30 pages of fresh content, adding depth and detail to the future hero world. It’s been a rollercoaster ride since it wrapped up earlier this Summer in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, but this concluding volume offers a much more satisfying resolution.

In a surprising twist, the final chapter of My Hero Academia has been extended, offering insights into the future world inhabited by Izuku Midoriya and his former Class 1-A companions. Despite his professional success as a hero, Shoto finds himself discontent with his current role. Believing that he’s only in this position because of circumstances beyond his control, Shoto is considering a change of direction, one that centers around culinary pursuits.

Shoto Becomes a Top Hero in the Future

In Japan, Chapter 431 of the popular manga series “My Hero Academia” was recently published alongside Volume 42. This chapter occurs approximately one month following Deku’s entry into the professional hero realm with his former Class 1-A comrades. The friends come together to celebrate Shoto, as he has climbed to the second position in the top hero rankings. This achievement has led him to reconsider his current path and ponder whether he truly desires to dedicate all his time to being a pro hero. He’s begun contemplating alternative activities and potential futures instead.

Since the conflict with All For One and Tomura Shigaraki ended, Dabi has sadly passed away. This event has shifted perspectives not only for him but also the Todoroki family. People have observed that he’s been distancing himself from his father’s past actions, and they acknowledge that he’s been wise in escaping the negative image his father left behind. However, as Dabi grapples with his struggles, Shoto finds himself pondering what steps he can take for his own personal growth.

What Shoto Really Wants to Do in the Future

With everyone praising how he’s surpassing his father, Dabi, and seeing a shift in hero society due to All For One’s defeat, Shoto has begun contemplating his role within it for the first time. As fewer villains are active, he and other heroes have had the chance to consider new purposes in life. It’s during this period that Shoto comes to understand that his destiny may be guiding him towards this path.

Instead of sticking to being a hero, I find Shoto is eagerly planning to enroll in pottery classes to craft bowls and chopsticks. His passion for food, which has brought him some of his most cherished moments in the past, is now compelling him to delve deeper into the culinary world. With more leisure time at hand, he wishes to explore a future that’s less hero-centric and more focused on cooking.
