My Hero Academia to Crack Down on Global Popularity Poll’s ‘Bot’ Votes

As a die-hard fan of My Hero Academia since its inception, I must admit that I was quite excited about the Global Popularity Poll, eagerly awaiting the midterm results. However, it seems that the poll’s integrity has been called into question due to some suspicious votes. While I can understand fans wanting to show their love for their favorite characters, it’s disheartening to see such actions potentially tarnishing the fairness of the poll.

In response to potential bot-submitted votes affecting the Global Popularity Poll for “My Hero Academia,” the creators have decided to scrutinize the submissions more closely before announcing the winner. Initially, when Kohei Horikoshi concluded the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, a worldwide fan vote was announced as a way to celebrate the series. With the poll closing soon and a favorite character set to be crowned, an unexpected issue has arisen regarding the validity of some votes cast so far.

As a devoted fan, I recently learned from Shueisha’s Editorial Department on social media that they need to postpone the midterm results for the My Hero Academia Global Popularity Poll due to some irregularities. They’re currently scrutinizing votes to ensure they comply with the terms of service and invalidating any suspicious or bot-generated votes, ensuring a fair and accurate representation of fan support ahead of the final tally.

My Hero Academia Global Popularity Poll Removes Fake Votes

Shueisha has announced that they are currently nullifying votes on the Main Stage that violate their Terms of Service. The initial announcement for the midterm results was set for 7pm on Sunday, September 1st, but will now be rescheduled to Thursday, September 5th, at 7pm in order to eliminate invalid votes. If we find any votes we deem fraudulent or rule-breaking, those votes will be disregarded. We appreciate your patience as we strive to make the poll as fair as possible.

As global voting continues until September 30th for various events, Shueisha has detected potential issues with some votes appearing to be invalid or submitted from non-authorized sources. It appears that some enthusiastic fans might have overstepped boundaries in their eagerness to support their preferred characters, prompting Shueisha to verify that all recorded votes so far originated from genuine human sources.
