As a long-time fan of My Hero Academia, I can’t help but get excited every time there’s new news about the franchise! With the latest movie, You’re Next, just around the corner, it feels like we’re in for another thrilling adventure with Deku and his friends.


In approximately two weeks, “My Hero Academia: Your Turn” is set to premiere in Japan, bringing more thrilling action to fans through a fresh trailer. As we approach the end of Season 7, which airs this Summer, of the beloved anime, the franchise is gearing up for an international release as well. The fourth movie in the series will make its debut overseas, providing additional insights into the time between Season 6 and 7 by introducing new battles.

In an exciting turn of events, the upcoming movie, “My Hero Academia: You’re Next, introduces a malevolent version of All Might named “Dark Might.” With Deku and other brave heroes joining forces, they aim to thwart this new menace. What to Know for My Hero Academia: You’re Next

The Japanese release of “My Hero Academia: You’re Next” is scheduled for August 2nd, followed by the North American debut starting October 11th. This project, part of the “My Hero Academia” series, is overseen by its creator Kohei Horikoshi. Tensai Okamura from studio Bones will helm the director’s chair. Yosuke Kuroda, returning from the television anime, will pen the script. Yoshihiko Umakoshi is back to design the characters, and Yuki Hayashi continues to create the music score.

In the upcoming film “My Hero Academia: You’re Next,” several new characters and their actors have been announced. Kenta Miyake will portray Dark Might, Meru Nukumi takes on Anna Scervino, Mamoru Miyano becomes Giulio Gandini, Ken Uo is cast as Hugo, Yuki Ono plays Kamil, Minako Kotobuki joins the film as Deborah, Yusuke Kobayashi portrays Paulo, Michitake Kikuchi acts as Simon, and Masaki Terasoma brings Bruno to life. Previously, series creator Kohei Horikoshi hinted at the setting of “My Hero Academia: You’re Next.”
