As a longtime fan of My Hero Academia, I can’t help but get excited about the upcoming film, You’re Next. The latest installment in the series promises to bring another thrilling adventure for Deku and Class 1-A as they face off against a new villain, Dark Might. Having watched the previous films and read the manga, I can attest to the fact that Kohei Horikoshi never fails to deliver an engaging storyline that keeps fans on the edge of their seats.
The upcoming anime film “My Hero Academia: You’re Next” is nearly here, debuting in Japanese cinemas within a few weeks and coming to North America in October. Similar to its preceding three full-length counterparts, Deku and Class 1-A will confront a lethal menace absent from their regular TV storyline. Although Dark Might isn’t featured in the finale, promotional materials have shown that his ominous doppelganger poses a severe challenge to Class 1-A. In anticipation of its premiere, “My Hero Academia: You’re Next” will join the manga realm with a special edition scheduled for release alongside the upcoming Shonen Jump chapter.
The films based on My Hero Academia so far are “My Hero Academia: Two Heroes,” “My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising,” and “My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission.” These movies, as proven by the series’ creator Kohei Horikoshi in the past, take place within the show’s continuity. With the manga coming to an end next month, fans are eagerly anticipating which characters Horikoshi will reintroduce for the final act of this shonen series.
My Hero Academia: You’re Next’s Manga Arrival
In the upcoming “My Hero Academia” manga, there’s a standalone story called “Connect To The Day,” scheduled for release in the next chapter. Currently, this instalment is planned to have approximately sixteen pages, but the exact narrative it will present is yet to be revealed.
If you’re interested in discovering more about the fourth film and the battle against Dark Might, Studio Bones has provided this description: The two sides engaged in an intense war, with Izuku facing off against Shigaraki Tomura, who had gained a formidable power. The confrontation resulted in significant damage for both parties, and Shigaraki eventually retreated. However, the opportunity for another encounter was not far off. Amidst the destruction caused by this fierce battle, a strange colossal fortress emerged, consuming towns and people one by one. Subsequently, a man resembling a “beacon of peace” appeared before Izuku and his companions.
