Regardless of age or gender, we share this dream… On the playground when I’m six, with my parka fastened and cape on, ready to take action because Dion Townsend has upset my friend. In that moment, I am a superhero!

Although you’re playing the script supervisor in The Franchise…

Indeed, I’ve come to admire script supervisors immensely. If I were to step into their shoes, I’d soon realize it’s a role I could never fill. The organization, mathematics, and technology involved in this job are simply staggering – truly, you’re the backbone of the entire production. The pace is relentless, yet you manage to keep tabs on the shot size, number, director’s preferred take, continuity across shots, and each actor’s performance consistency – it’s nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Did the project excite you?

Indeed, collaborating with Sam Mendes and Armando Iannucci was a dream come true for me. The experience was electrifying, as I had the privilege of working alongside talented writers who were completely dedicated to making each scene as hilarious as possible. Watching the other actors perform, I found myself thinking, “Wow, this is fantastic. This is so smooth. Such subtle humor and brilliance.” It was truly a remarkable experience, one that I hope to replicate in my future projects.

Would you like to be a superhero yourself?

I’d love the power of flight. And I’d love to be fighting the good fight, going out and helping people who needed rescuing.
