Developer ACE Team, in collaboration with Publisher Nacon, has unveiled their upcoming cooperative horror game titled “The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu“. Set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, this chilling adventure is slated for a 2025 debut.

As a devoted admirer, I’m excited to share that ACE Team, creators of the thrilling games like Clash: Artifacts of Chaos and the Zeno Clash series, are venturing into a fresh genre with The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu. This chilling first-person horror game offers online cooperative play for up to four brave souls. Drawing inspiration from Lovecraft’s gripping novella The Mound, players find themselves leading a group of conquistadors on an adventure to uncover a mythical subterranean city, said to house invaluable treasures.
In the heart of a dark and foreboding jungle, adventurers delve into the unknown, confronting terrifying, alien beings that twist their perceptions and challenge their mental fortitude… is that noise merely a figment of my imagination, or am I slipping into madness and turning against my comrade, or could there really be a malevolent entity lurking in the darkness? As explorers press further into the jungle, cooperation will be vital for their survival.
