Naomie Harris Reveals Who Could Be the Next James Bond

It’s been the question on everyone’s minds: Who will be the next James Bond?

For four years now, since Daniel Craig’s last appearance as James Bond in No Time to Die, there have been many discussions about who might take on this legendary role. This debate has grown even more intense after it was announced that Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, longtime producers of the Bond series, would be relinquishing their roles and entrusting complete creative control to Amazon MGM.

Among actors like Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Harris Dickinson, Theo James, Callum Turner, and many others, there’s a possibility that the next 007 could be one of them. Even Naomie Harris, who was once Miss Moneypenny, has shared her thoughts on who might look good in the tuxedo.

In an interview with TopMob magazine as they promoted their upcoming spy flick Black Bag, Harris mentioned that the next James Bond could be anyone who embodies the characteristics of the secret service agent.

She mentioned that qualities such as sophistication, allure, enigma, wit, and charisma are important, regardless of gender.

Besides Harris, other previous James Bond stars have also shared their thoughts on potential actors for the upcoming Bond role.

During a conversation with the Sunday Telegraph, Pierce Brosnan stated that it was a sensible choice for Broccoli and Wilson to relinquish their creative control.

He expressed that he had been anticipating it for quite a while, but he believes it was the appropriate choice for Barbara and Michael. It requires tremendous bravery on their part to make this decision. I trust that [Amazon] will approach the task with sensitivity, creativity, and respect.

Regarding who might become the next 07 (James Bond), there’s one point that Brosnan strongly believes: The individual should be British. In an interview, the Irish actor made it clear that this was a foregone conclusion.
