As a gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that Naruto has been a staple in the anime world since its inception. From the struggles of the Seventh Hokage to the current challenges faced by his son Boruto, this series has never failed to keep me on the edge of my seat.
In the beginning, the Seventh Hokage, Naruto, was striving for acceptance in the Hidden Leaf Village. However, things took a turn when his son, Boruto Uzumaki, became the main character in the subsequent series called Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. This series saw its creator Masashi Kishimoto passing on the creative responsibilities to his assistant Mikio Ikemoto. With pen in hand, Ikemoto crafted the tales of Konoha’s future until Kishimoto reappeared to throw a significant twist into the lives of the Uzumaki family. Although no longer drawing the series, Kishimoto is eager to share fresh artwork featuring Naruto Uzumaki.
Naruto’s comic book series has persisted for several decades without showing any signs of slowing down. The most recent sequel, “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” has brought forth numerous difficulties for the people of Konoha and the ninja community at large. Due to the malevolent powers of Eida, the world has experienced a significant upheaval. Previously, Boruto’s friends suspected him of killing his parents, but fortunately for him, Naruto and Hinata are merely stuck in a state resembling limbo. Kawaki is determined to eliminate the Otsusuki, while the Divine Trees have started to manifest themselves, making Boruto’s future quite busy.
Masashi Kishimoto Shares New Naruto Art
In an exclusive collaboration, Masashi Kishimoto teamed up with artist Mikio Ikemoto once more to offer fresh perspectives on the world of Naruto. Unlike Boruto Uzumaki who faces his own set of difficulties, Naruto endured a much tougher beginning in his own escapades. If you’re intrigued by the idea of watching young Naruto cross paths with young Boruto, the anime adaptation of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations includes a time-travel plotline that brings them together under unusual circumstances.

What’s Happening in Boruto?
In the anime “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex,” Boruto, the son of the Seventh Hokage, has been engaged in battles against both friends and enemies. Despite this, he’s managed to come out on top in many of these encounters due to his hidden training. He’s now employing innovative versions of the Rasengan, which enabled him to defeat characters like Code and Mitsuki. However, it seems that the Divine Trees are a different challenge altogether. What’s more surprising is that Boruto wasn’t the only one from the Uzumaki Clan to gain a power boost. His sister Himawari has been revealed as the new host for the Nine-Tailed Fox, which suggests she could possess similar power levels to her father. This implies that the daughter of the Seventh Hokage is likely to have a significant role in the story’s future.
Naruto’s Anime Future
Currently, Studio Pierrot hasn’t shared any specific timeline about when we, as fans, can look forward to Konoha gracing our TV screens again. Earlier, they announced four new episodes that would delve into the origins of Konoha, revisiting the initial phases of the Naruto anime series. Although these episodes are still in production, shonen enthusiasts like myself are left pondering if we’ll ever witness the return of Boruto on our screens. With Pierrot adopting a more seasonal strategy for its productions, it might mean that we’ll have to be patient for some time longer before the ninja universe resumes its presence, amidst the upcoming third part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
