Boruto Uzumaki has consistently found himself playing second fiddle to his father’s legendary status within Konoha, a role that seems destined to endure throughout history. Across the series ‘Naruto’ and its sequel ‘Naruto: Shippuden’, Naruto faced an adversary in the form of the village, a hostile Nine-Tailed Fox dwelling within him, and various antagonists determined to bring ruin to the Ninja World. Boruto, too, battles internal strife, specifically against Momoshiki, and his former allies have become foes, as depicted in Two Blue Vortex. Yet, there remains hope for Boruto, as his mentor sees a promising future ahead for the child of the Seventh Hokage.
Ever since the debut of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations”, there’s been an ongoing debate among anime enthusiasts about how Boruto compares to his father, Naruto. Given Naruto’s legendary story in the shonen genre and the challenge of introducing a new character to fill his shoes, it took some persuasion for fans to accept Boruto as his successor. However, over time, Boruto has found his stride, with both “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” and the spin-off manga “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex”, in which Masashi Kishimoto resumes writing duties. This sequel series promises to elevate the stakes and is poised to make a major mark on the anime scene when it airs.

Initially, when the series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations started, Mikio Ikemoto, who was once under Masashi Kishimoto, took charge of the franchise. With Boruto Uzumaki facing more trials than ever before, his parents are nowhere to be found to lend him support. Fortunately, this plot twist adds depth to the storyline for the anime ninjas, and Boruto’s future hangs precariously in the balance as a consequence.
