Having traversed through the trials and tribulations of Team 7, I never thought I’d find myself rooting for Boruto’s survival more than ever before.

In recent years, Boruto has significantly increased his power by acquiring new skills, and it’s evident that he possesses a unique understanding of the current state of affairs involving the Ten Tails, surpassing others. The latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex unveils this insight is due to a concealed new ability activated by Kashin. This power allows various possible futures to unfold, some of which depict Boruto’s demise and the potential destruction of the world itself.

Boruto Was Originally Going to Die

in his final battle against Jigen, he unintentionally activated a dormant Shinjutsu ability within himself. This power was triggered because Amado had integrated cells from the Otsutsuki character, Shibai, during Kashin’s creation. The power that emerged is called Prescience, allowing him to perceive multiple possible futures.

In simpler terms, he has the ability to perceive various possible outcomes for events, as well as alternate realities that are influenced by current actions. He provides instances of dire consequences that were averted, such as Naruto’s death at Isshiki Otsutsuki’s hands or Boruto and Sarada meeting their demise at Kawaki’s hands. In these scenarios, he and Kawaki both died, leading to the creation of a Divine Tree by the Otsutsuki clan to bring about the destruction of the world. However, it’s important to note that these outcomes are both real and not real simultaneously.
