In this fresh new season of NBA 2K25, players are back at it again, striving for that elusive 99 rating and aiming to fully optimize their skills represented by Badges. This year, there have been significant changes to Badges, with some no longer featured in the game. However, if you’re aiming for a versatile team in MyCareer, acquiring and enhancing those Badges is vital for achieving victory.
Badges come in various levels, however, the primary goal is achieving Gold status. Initially, you must satisfy certain stat conditions. Subsequently, to upgrade the badge, it’s essential to complete its specific requirement – such as mid-range shots for Deadeye or pass accuracy for Ball Out. While you can simply play the game, there are more expedient and reliable methods to do so.
How to Earn Gold Badges
In my city, make your way to The Dunes, situated right on the beach. Follow the path and observe the scene until the board appears. This interactive board offers streetball challenges against various opponents. To unlock new teammates, Dunkotron 5000 or Jukes the Clown, win either the Weekly Challenge with Dunkotron 5000 or beat Jukes the Clown in a game.
However, the main attraction is Danny Dunkman, who, compared to other players on the board, is pretty easy to deal with, whether you’re shooting against him or defending. You can thus make any plays that you want with little challenge involved. After completing a match, you’ll earn Virtual Currency and MyPoints for your rating alongside badge progress. Keep rematching against Danny until you’ve ranked up your badges as much as possible.
