NBA 2K25 Guide – How to Reach 99 Overall Quickly

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of NBA 2K under my belt, I can confidently say that reaching 99 Overall has always been a challenge worth undertaking. The grind for those coveted Badges and maxing out your players is something that keeps me coming back year after year.

In NBA 2K25, aside from acquiring Badges or improving your top players, the ultimate, long-term objective remains the same: achieving a 99 Overall rating for your player. As you advance through MyCareer and collect MyPoints, your character’s stats and overall rank will increase accordingly.

Many gamers are eagerly trying to attain a Level 99 Overall as swiftly as possible, particularly this year due to the Rebirth updates. So, how can one achieve this quickly in this year’s version? Surprisingly, it might not be as challenging as you imagine.

How to Quickly Reach 99 Overall

You can achieve a score of 99 Overall by various means, either through gameplay or repetitive activities. However, grinding is more efficient, particularly in The City. Therefore, make your way to The Temple. Battle Velvet, the weekly boss, to recruit him for your team. Choose an adversary with the poorest three-point rating as he’ll be the least difficult to manage.

Play a game, observe your opponent missing hoop attempts, then grab the loose ball. Toss the ball to Velvet for an Alley-Oop since he excels at it, and repeat this strategy. At least 10,000 points can be earned through this method, and it’s beneficial for collecting badges too. However, keep in mind that it may take some time to reach a 99 Overall rating.

If you’re setting up a Center building, consider heading over to The Rec instead. It seems to be dishing out a lot more Points for rebounds than anticipated, making it wise to capitalize on this opportunity while it remains effective.
