NBA 2K25 Patch 5: Unlock Trophies You Thought Were Impossible!

2K routinely refreshes NBA 2K25 with the latest rosters, jerseys, and court designs, ensuring a genuinely realistic NBA experience. In addition to fresh content, the developers occasionally incorporate enhancements and bug fixes suggested by players. The recently launched patch, named “NBA 2K25 Gen 9 (New Gen) v5.0,” aligns with this pattern. Luckily for devoted NBA 2K25 gamers, they won’t have to wait long for this update as it drops today.

It’s worth noting that two significant improvements made in the NBA 2K25 v5.0 update mainly address two trophies or achievements within the game. One of these issues was with the “Baaaaaaah!” trophy, which was not correctly unlocking for players despite them reaching the required GOAT League tier in three separate seasons in Play Now Online. Instead of progressing by 33%, it would only advance by 10%. Given that there are eight seasons in a year, this made it impossible to obtain the trophy. This problem should now be resolved, making it achievable.

In the game NBA 2K25, the second trophy or achievement to be rectified is titled “World Tour”. This challenge requires players to finish 100 Exhibition matches within the MyTeam mode. Originally, the progress of completed Exhibition games wasn’t being recorded. However, this update aims to resolve this ongoing problem.

Apart from addressing two key aspects, the new version of NBA 2K25 brings enhancements to the City, MyTeam, MyNBA/The W, and PC gameplay. This update also readies the game for Season 5, set to debut on February 21st, this Friday. Below you’ll find the detailed patch notes for the recent NBA 2K25 update:
