In preparation for its 40th anniversary, the popular soap opera “Neighbours” has invited several cherished actors to return for a special episode marking this milestone.
According to the authentic Neighbours social media platform, it’s been announced that Peter O’Brien’s character, Shane Ramsay, is coming back to catch up with his son, Max.
But that isn’t all.
Details about why Roxy Willis/Canning is back on Ramsay Street are still being kept secret, but we can confirm that she’ll be reappearing again.
Get ready for Ramsay’s Comeback! As the show approaches its 40th milestone, Shane is planning a revisit to Erinsborough to catch up on his son, Max. On the other hand, another relative from the Ramsay clan – Roxy Willis/Canning is gearing up for her return! We’re all excited about the upcoming Ramsay family reunions on the Street!

In the year 2022, actress Zima Anderson relinquished her character, Roxy, whose storyline took a new direction as she embarked on a fresh beginning with her on-screen spouse, Kyle Canning.
Regarding her departure, Anderson shared with Digital Spy: “I completed a three-year contract on Neighbours. Typically, you sign up for three years on the show. After serving three years, I decided it was time to test myself in new ways.
You settle into a cozy routine. Attending your neighbors’ school for acting was an extraordinary opportunity, unlike anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. I absorbed so much knowledge, shared countless laughs, and experienced personal growth like never before. As such, I felt compelled to explore new challenges. It seemed as if everything fell into place at just the right moment.
Leaving such an exceptional place was incredibly difficult for me because ‘Neighbours’ is truly extraordinary and wonderful. I hold a deep affection for Roxy, who remains close to my heart, but I decided to depart in order to broaden my horizons elsewhere, as I had already absorbed so much knowledge there.

Last year in November, Shane Ramsay came back to Erinsborough accompanied by Max, as he sought refuge from a potentially harmful predicament.
Shane intends to assist Max in getting back on track, as well as removing him from negative environments, according to what O’Brien shared with TV Week upon his return.
Now Shane is back once more to check in on Max, but will drama follow?
