The neighbors are hinting at the comeback of a beloved figure from the past, as Anne Charleston, a previous cast member, is set to reappear in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Australian soap opera.

From 1986 to 2001, Charleston portrayed Madge Bishop, a cherished wife of Harold (played by Ian Smith). After Madge’s passing, Charleston continued to make brief appearances on the show until 2022.

So, is Madge set to appear as another vision to Harold? Not this time!

Charleston is in fact playing brand new Neighbours character Agnes Adair.

When Nell Rebecchi, or Ayisha Salem-Towner, displays her art exhibition titled ‘The Story of Erinsborough’, Agnes expresses curiosity and appreciation for the young artist’s remarkable pieces.

As a movie enthusiast, I find myself captivated by an image of Madge, and it’s JJ Varga-Murphy (Riley Bryant) who points out that the two of them share an uncanny resemblance!

JJ fills Nell in, and the youngsters later take a picture of Agnes.

But just who is this woman, and could she be related to the late Madge?

Could it be that Neighbours might be hinting at another hidden twin storyline, many years after Dee Bloss found out about her identical twin?
