Overview: We are working on an immersive, solo gaming experience known as Blood Message. This game, designed for both PC and consoles, is a narrative-driven action adventure that’s still in development. The game engine we’re using is Unreal Engine 5, with additional enhancements thanks to our studio’s unique tools and technologies.

Blood Message marks the debut of NetEase Games in creating AAA single-player titles. It combines intense survival combat with deeply moving Eastern storytelling, offering a unique gaming experience for adventure seekers.

In “Blood Message,” you find yourself on an overlooked odyssey steeped in devotion and endurance, as players become part of Dunhuang’s rebellion, assuming the roles of an anonymous messenger and his youthful offspring in this captivating third-person action-adventure. As you are entangled in the conflict between a noble uprising and your unwavering loyalty to family and nation, you set out on a treacherous eastward course to convey a message that could determine the destiny of your war-ravaged homeland. Amidst the ever-changing landscape of history, you will carve a final epic story of devotion.

In the late years of the Tang Empire, players will embark on a perilous 1,000-mile journey from Chang’an, the capital city, to retrace their steps back home. This dangerous voyage takes them through inhospitable terrains such as barren deserts and vast expanses of East and Central Asia. The game challenges players to survive deadly sieges, unforgiving landscapes, and seemingly insurmountable odds. The setting during the final years of the Tang Dynasty serves as a historical backdrop for the story, immersing players in the customs, culture, and rich history of that time period.

In simpler terms, even the smallest individuals – insignificant as specks of dust – can make an indelible impact on history. According to the developers of the Blood Message, this is achieved by being remembered and revered by generations to come.
