This film has consistently ranked among the most popular on Netflix, but there was a significant problem for subscribers when it came to watching the original “Den of Thieves.” Unfortunately, the first installment was not available to stream along with its sequel.

Luckily, Netflix made an unexpected move this week by adding the original “Den of Thieves” to their platform on April 2nd. This means that fans of action movies can now enjoy both films from this series under one roof, as it was previously unavailable.

The movie “Den of Thieves” premiered in 2018, depicting a confrontation between a gang of bank robbers and an elite LAPD unit, who are attempting to rob the Federal Reserve. An impressive cast that includes Gerard Butler, Pablo Schreiber, and O’Shea Jackson Jr., with Christian Gudegast as director and co-writer, was assembled for this film. Except for Pablo Schreiber, all of these actors reprised their roles in “Den of Thieves 2” which was released this year.

Although neither installment of “Den of Thieves” has been blockbuster movies at the box office, they’ve managed to build a substantial and devoted fanbase over the past few years. Action enthusiasts have shown a great fondness for these films, and with the entire “Den of Thieves” series now streaming on Netflix, it’s expected that their fanbase will expand even further.

An additional piece of exciting information is that another installment of “Den of Thieves,” the third one, is currently being worked on. This implies that the narrative will carry on past these two films.
