While it’s undeniably popular, what makes it stand out is its higher production cost compared to other romance series such as “Virgin River” and “Sweet Magnolias”, due to its elaborate period settings and costumes. By choosing to renew the show for multiple seasons, Netflix has given fans a guarantee that we can enjoy “Bridgton” at least until 2028, and potentially beyond.
One popular Netflix series that garnered significant attention this year but hasn’t been renewed is “Adolescence.” This drama has made history by becoming one of the most-watched shows on Netflix, leading some to believe that new seasons would follow. However, “Adolescence” was intended as a limited series from the start, so additional episodes may not be produced.
