It’s often said that Netflix ends shows following their initial season, but the success of “Devil May Cry” is so strong it’s been renewed for another round.
The Netflix animated show, spearheaded by Adi Shankar (who was spotted at a WWE event in Dante’s costume), garnered around 5.3 million views within a week. Now, it’s moving forward for a second season.
Although the video streaming platform has kept details scant, they hinted at season two by saying “let’s dance” on their social media platforms, accompanied by a graphic to confirm it.
The Legend of Lara Croft, another show inspired by video games, has been given the green light for a second season. This move suggests that Netflix may have found a successful formula in their adaptations.
It’s clear that the Castlevania series was a hit from the start on the platform, and so far, it has been given four seasons to air. Notably, Shankar contributed to its development as well.
Are you finding the Devil May Cry animated series enjoyable up to this point? Are you planning on watching the second season when it comes out?
