The show I’m referring to is “Tires”, the office-based comedy created by Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and McKeever. In this series, Gerben and Gillis play employees of an auto repair chain struggling to stay afloat day by day. Their on-screen dynamic has rapidly become one of the funniest character pairings on TV.
Last year, the show titled “Tires” premiered on Netflix with only six episodes, giving off an impression of a preliminary test rather than a full-fledged season. Despite this, the series is relatively low in cost to produce and doesn’t need to be as big a success as “Stranger Things” to provide Netflix with a substantial profit. Notably, it was renewed for a second season before its premiere, which bodes well for the future of “Tires”.

Both characters are granted sufficient screen time to evolve, resulting in a funnier and more nuanced portrayal this season.
In the second season of Tires, a multitude of comedy heavyweights lend their talents as guest stars. Thomas Haden Church appears for multiple episodes, playing the father of Gillis’ mechanic, who becomes pivotal to the show by showing interest in the business and developing into one of its key characters.
