Netflix is reviving “Little House on the Prairie,” and the actors chosen for the roles have been disclosed. The role that holds the greatest significance in this case is that of Laura.
Drawing inspiration from Laura Ingalls Wilder’s “Little House” series of books, “Little House on the Prairie” delves into the life and upbringing of Laura and her family as they navigate the American frontier during the 1800s. In the initial television adaptation, Melissa Gilbert portrayed Laura. According to recent updates, Alice Halsey, known for her role in “Lessons in Chemistry,” has been cast in this revival to play the part of Laura.
A young, promising artist, Halsey, was previously cast as Brie Larson’s daughter in the Apple TV+ show “Lessons in Chemistry.” More recently, she made her debut on the daytime drama “Days of Our Lives,” lent her voice to the animated series “Kindergarten: The Musical,” and made a guest appearance on the revived NBC series “Night Court.
