Netflix’s One Piece First Look at Nico Robin

Fans have noticed the appearance of Nico Robin’s costume from “Miss All Sunday” in the latest designs for One Piece Season 2. This was her debut outfit in Eiichiro Oda’s original One Piece comic, characterized by a fur coat and cowboy hat that made her distinct among many other characters initially. As “Miss All Sunday”, Robin was part of the enigmatic Baroque Works organization, working under its leader, Mr. 0, who is also recognized as the ruthless pirate, Sir Crocodile.

In the upcoming season, Russian model and actress Lera Abova will breathe life into her character, who has previously appeared in productions such as Anna and Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. She’ll be sharing screen time with another newcomer, Joe Manganiello, who will bring Mr. 0 to the story. Their characters are set to play contrasting roles when they make their appearance in the upcoming episodes. Moreover, both of them have a substantial impact on the future direction of the series.

What to Know for Netflix’s One Piece Season 2

The second season of “One Piece” is being developed by Netflix for a future launch, though they haven’t fixed a specific release date yet. As reported earlier, the renowned creator of “One Piece”, Eiichiro Oda, has confirmed that the upcoming episodes will follow the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Cape), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island story arcs from the original manga. Similar to the first season, it’s expected that the new episodes will delve deeper into other characters and subplots as well.

Nico Robin significantly strengthens the One Piece franchise on Netflix, suggesting they plan to keep their adaptation going for some time. She becomes more prominent in the Alabasta arc, which leads other arcs. If Season 2 performs as well as the initial release and the massive Alabasta arc is tackled, a potential third or fourth season of the live-action One Piece could ensue. Presently, it’s an excellent opportunity to watch the first season, now streaming on Netflix.
