As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for enchanting narratives and visually stunning games, I can confidently say that Nomada Studio’s Neva is already shaping up to be a masterpiece. Having played and loved Gris, I was eagerly anticipating their next venture, and let me tell you, it has not disappointed.
On October 15th, Nomada Studio’s game titled “Neva” will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and PS5. Yet, its reviews have already surfaced, with critics lavishing praise upon the platforming adventure. You can watch the accolades trailer below to hear their insights.
In this game titled Neva, you’ll follow the journey of a young wolf named Neva, who joins Alba as an enigmatic blight consumes the environment, devastating its flora and fauna. As you play, you control Alba, initially guarding Neva from the malevolent creatures spawned by this corruption. As time progresses and Neva grows older, you’ll team up to traverse changing landscapes, growing closer together while bravely confronting the darkness that threatens them.
Similar to its preceding game, Gris, the title Neva employs an intricate hand-drawn art style, showcasing each season in vivid detail. Compared to the previous version, its platforming is tougher and it offers more extensive combat. Alba, the main character, wields a sword to battle, and later commands Neva to engage enemies. For additional information, read our review (we rated it 9 out of 10).
