The upcoming action comedy starring Hugh Jackman and Bryan Cranston, titled “Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie“, is said to be pushed back from its initial release date. Originally slated for a theater debut on February 20, 2026, the Kyle Balda-directed project has encountered delays. The story revolves around George Hardy (portrayed by Jackman), a shepherd who narrates sheep murder mysteries to his flock at night. Unbeknownst to him, they could understand every word he spoke. When George himself becomes the victim of a murder, the sheep take it upon themselves to solve the case as the investigation falls into the hands of an inexperienced local police officer.
As reported by Deadline, the premiere of “Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie” has been rescheduled to November 2026. It appears that Amazon MGM Studios decided to change the original release date from February next year to a pre-Thanksgiving slot in order to attract more family audiences.
