Since 2024 began, Netflix has been gradually revealing sneak peeks at the second and final season of “Arcane”. Most recently, they showcased an extended clip from upcoming episodes. Now, to keep the anticipation high, Netflix is releasing a new image that focuses on one of the series’ key characters.
On social media, Netflix recently unveiled a sneak peek at Ekko in the upcoming season 2 of “Arcane”. Apart from Jinx and Vi, Ekko was one of the major characters featured in the initial season of “Arcane”. Intriguingly, he will reappear in season 2, and his show appearance now aligns more closely with his character design in the “League of Legends” game. The specific role Ekko will play in season 2 of “Arcane” remains a mystery, but it’s evident that he has undergone significant growth since we last encountered him.

Despite the anticipation surrounding “Arcane,” it’s important to note that this isn’t the last story set in the universe of “League of Legends.” The creators behind “Arcane” have confirmed that they are working on future collaborative projects with Riot Games, Netflix, and Fortiche, which will be released in due time. Unfortunately, the specific characters from “League of Legends” who will lead these upcoming tales remain a mystery for now. However, it’s been disclosed that both television and film formats are under consideration for these future projects.
Currently, Netflix hasn’t announced a concrete release date for Season 2 of Arcane. However, we know that it will air sometime in November 2024. A more specific date within this month has not been given yet. Since there’s been a steady stream of Arcane news recently, it’s expected that the official launch date might be announced soon.
