Batman and Lieutenant James Gordon of Gotham City Police Department never stop working, as their detective duties are always ongoing. An upcoming release from McFarlane Toys showcases these characters, hailing from the fourth part of the “Batman: Year One” comic by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli. Interestingly, a figure based on Alfred Pennyworth from the movie “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will also be launched alongside them. Here are some key details about this upcoming toy line.
On or around April 16th at 9am PST / 12pm EST, you’ll have the opportunity to pre-order all three figures. The Batman and James Gordon figures can only be purchased from Walmart, but the Alfred figure will be available more broadly. Recently, McFarlane Toys has been releasing a series of highly limited figures. This week saw the launch of two such figurines: the Gold Label Spawn #311 and the Red Hood Frostbite Edition. Both these collectibles are part of small edition runs. The Spawn #311 Patina Edition Gold Label 7″ Figure is available for pre-order on Walmart.com at a price of $29.99, with an estimated delivery date in July 2025. On the other hand, the Red Hood Frostbite Edition action figure can be found on Gamestop’s site, also priced at $29.99 and scheduled for delivery by April 28th. Given that only 3,400 pieces of the Gold Label Spawn figure and 4,250 Red Hood figurines have been produced, it would be wise to act swiftly if you wish to secure a piece for your collection.
