As a dedicated fan who’s been with the Call of Duty series since its inception, I must say, Activision’s latest update for Black Ops 6 is music to my battle-hardened ears! The Legacy XP token system issue, which has been a thorn in our collective side for far too long, finally sees resolution with this patch. It’s like they heard the collective groan of the community and decided to take action.

Activision has rolled out an updated version of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users. Following the commencement of Season 1 for “Black Ops 6” earlier this month, Activision has been consistently releasing updates to enhance the gameplay across Multiplayer and Zombies modes. Recently, they’ve released another update that fine-tunes certain aspects of “BO6,” based on player suggestions.

Immediately available, the latest update for Black Ops 6 has made a significant change – it’s now possible to use Legacy XP tokens within the game. This issue has been a hot topic of debate among Call of Duty players over the past week, so it’s reassuring to see it addressed. Apart from this, the update also fine-tunes minor aspects related to Gunsmith, Scorestreaks, User Interface, and GobbleGums in Zombies.

Legacy XP Tokens 

    Gameplay 

    • Improved hitmarker UI to help identify individual shots more easily. 

    Cosmetics 

    • Addressed an issue where weapon sights would be misaligned with the Weaver Repairman Operator Skin equipped. 

    Store 

    • Improved the loading of Tracer and Inspect preview videos for weapons. 

    MULTIPLAYER

    Gunsmith  

    • Added several missing language translations when swapping attachments. 

    Scorestreaks 

    • Improved steering in reverse with View-Based vehicle controls. 

    UI 

    • Addressed an unintentional bug where MWII and MWIII camos could be applied to Black Ops 6 weapons. Camos from previous titles were not designed for Black Ops 6 weapons and attachments and are not supported due to visual inconsistencies.
    • Addressed an issue where some Perk bags were not displaying when creating loadouts. 

    Stability 

    • Various stability fixes. 

    ZOMBIES

    GobbleGums 

    • Addressed an issue that allowed GobbleGums to persist indefinitely. 

    UI 

    • Added additional information for the current saved game in the map selection menu.
