During a recent live stream by CD Projekt Red, they announced that an updated version of Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to launch later in March.
Indeed, the rumors we’ve heard lately have turned out to be true. The patch is scheduled to release in exactly three weeks, specifically on June 26th. As of now, there are no specifics about what this update will include, but given it’s labeled as version 2.3, it’s expected to be quite substantial.
Earlier rumors hinted that an update could be released along with the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game, which came out today (June 5th as I write this). However, it seems that excited gamers will need to hold on for a bit longer.
Indeed, the confirmation of a patch follows an apparent leak by a Virtuos employee about his work on upcoming expansion packs for Cyberpunk 2077. Given this, it’s quite likely that this update will be the DLC itself, which means more content in one form or another is on its way.
