However, this connection was later removed from the job listing, leading to speculation about whether it was an oversight or a deliberate move to keep the project details confidential.
As a dedicated gamer, I can confidently say that it seems highly probable that WB Games Montreal will continue working on DC Comics titles, considering their extensive history with these projects. Ever since they were founded in 2010, they’ve been the main force behind games like Batman: Arkham Origins and the upcoming Gotham Knights. They’ve even provided support for this year’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Given their track record, it’s almost a given that we can expect more DC adventures from them in the future.
Which DC Game Could Be Next?
It’s clear that the main point of speculation about this news is which DC property WB Games Montreal might be developing now. Given their previous work, Batman appears to be a strong possibility, especially considering a potential sequel to ‘Gotham Knights’. However, it’s important to note that upon its release in 2022, ‘Gotham Knights’ didn’t seem to have exceptional sales.
