Take on Demons with Tanjiro and the Hashiras by checking out the latest drop from Funko. The collectibles company has just released an all-new drop from the popular anime series, Demon Slayer. Mitsuri (Attack) , Muichiro (with a Chase!), Tanjiro, Gyokko, Genya (Demon Form), Hantengo, and Rengoku 9th Form (Premium) are all included in the drop, alongside a AAA Anime exclusive Zohakuten (pictured below), so it’s safe to say that this drop is packed with some of the best and most interesting characters of the show.

People who are interested can begin pre-ordering the “Demon Slayer” merchandise today, December 18th, starting at 12pm ET on Entertainment Earth or Amazon. The exclusive Zohakuten figure from AAA Anime is expected to become available through the Entertainment Earth link soon, but it’s also accessible via Vrare in the meantime. For your convenience, you can find the complete list of this week’s new Funko Pop drops here. Additionally, we have some fresh news about “Demon Slayer” that we’d like to share with you below.

Fans of Tanjiro’s demon-slaying adventure likely know about the upcoming Demon Slayer film titled “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle“. This new movie is intended to be an on-screen farewell to the characters and series, adapting the final story arc of Demon Slayer. At CCXP 2024, an international comic and entertainment convention, a first trailer for the film was unveiled, but further details have yet to be disclosed except for its tentative release in 2025.

Fans of Demon Slayer can anticipate a fresh video game next year! SEGA has confirmed that “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2” will be available on various platforms like PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe in 2025. Though specifics about the gameplay are still scarce, SEGA has disclosed some notable changes in the sequel, such as the new Story Mode. In this mode, players will continue their journey from where the first Hinokami Chronicles game concluded, exploring storylines based on the Entertainment District, Swordsmith Village, and Hashira Training Arcs that have been depicted in the anime since its initial season.

In addition to the familiar Hashira characters like Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira, and Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, you can expect over 40 diverse characters to be playable in the VS Mode. These characters include the game’s original ones, players themselves, and future DLC additions. Notably, all nine Hashira will be fully available for gameplay.

With the anime wrapping up soon, it’s comforting to know that we can savor its end instead of rushing to something new right away. Fans will have the pleasure of experiencing the concluding part of the anime, and again when the movie premieres. Looking forward to 2025 as a significant year!
