Coming up this year is a brand-new board game commemorating Donald Duck’s 90th anniversary – it’s called “Donald Duck: Happy Camper.” In early March, Maestro Media disclosed this exciting new title that takes our beloved characters, Donald and his nephews along with Webby, on a camping adventure in the woods. The game invites players to assume the identity of a Junior Woodchuck, accompanying Donald on his woodland expedition. By accomplishing various tasks such as pitching tents, creating gadgets, or locating perfect photo spots, players collect badges and bonuses along the way. The player who completes tasks most efficiently will reap greater rewards. Interestingly, Donald acts as a timer for the game, with the adventure concluding once he finishes his woodland journey.

The game titled “Donald Duck: Happy Camper” was skillfully crafted by esteemed designers Wolfgang Kramer and Daryl Andrews. Notably, Kramer has been honored with the Spiel des Jahres award five times, while Andrews is renowned for designing the game “Sagranda“.
Maestro Media, a recently established board game company, is swiftly gaining attention with several intriguing licenses for tabletop games. Notably, they are working on several Smurfs games, including a new tabletop roleplaying title. Additionally, this publisher has created games based on The Binding of Isaac, Hello Kitty, and Sally Face.
Donald Duck: Happy Camper will cost $29.99. The game will release in December of this year.
